The Noise App Survey Results Analysis
7th December 2021 The Noise App
Thank you again to everyone who took part in this year’s product survey. We announced the winner last week and you can read more about that here.
Almost 80% of respondents in this year’s survey were frontline officers and you all provided essential feedback on how The Noise App can be improved. Our development team are currently working on version two of the app, which will be available next year. Don’t worry - we’ll keep you all in the loop with that through our usual marketing channels!
62.32% of you rated The Noise App as either 4 or 5 stars and the three most used features were assigning officers (60.87%), directly messaging app users (49.28%) and downloading all recordings (43.48%). There appeared to be some gaps in knowledge around some features though, so over the next few weeks, we’re going to be doing a ‘How-to’ series to cover some of these issues. We also have a training event coming up in January that could help ensure you get the most from your subscription. You can read the full event summary and book your place here.
Looking at the responses around the best way to diarise noise nuisance, almost 80% of respondents reported that the best way was through The Noise App or using a combination of the app and paper diary forms. The top three benefits, as reported by our customers, for using The Noise App include providing a better customer service experience (78.26%), resolving more cases (60.87%) and better prioritisation of cases and staff resources (57.97%).
Evidence gathered through The Noise App has been used in a range of situations, including breach of tenancy (50%), community protection notices/orders (47.06%), mediation (45.49%) and civil injunctions (25%). 42.86% of respondents have used the share feature to share cases with the police and 30.95% and 19.05% have used this feature to share cases with housing associations and social services respectively. From the feedback, flagging potential safeguarding issues so these can be handled promptly is a priority for many of you and this is something that is going to be available for version two.
Thank you again to everyone who got involved and congratulations once again Ian Croll from Guildford, who is this year’s winner of the £50 gift card.
